♥ Franken 'Mud Bath' with China Glaze 'Shower Together' ♥

Franken 'Mud Bath' 3 thin coats with China Glaze 'Shower Together' + 1 coat of Nailene T.C.

Okay - I'm calling this 'Mud Bath', and I cleverly paired it with China Glaze 'Shower Together'. This is 3 thin coats of 'Mud Bath', with 2 coats of China Glaze 'Shower Together', I used a curved regular Nailene french tip guide, applied up-side down and on the diagonal for this mani.....

Essentially to make this colour I mixed all three of the primary colours, then added black and white. I am so happy those flecky things from the Claire's polish 'Yellow Brick Road' showed through. I was worried the richly pigmented black and white polish from Billie brand would drown it out.

Below is a photo indoors under florescent lighting and one outdoors in the gloomy cloudy weather.

The polish in the MIDDLE is a concoction of Claire's Yellow Brick Road, Claire's Matte Cobalt, Billie Claret, as well as Billie White and Billie Black. I started with a base of the Yellow brick road, and added the blue and red till I got to a nice brown colour = = = Drop by Drop. I poured equal amounts into these awesome mini polish bottles, then to the polish on the left I added black to create a darker version, and the polish on the right I added white to create a lighter version.

Here are a few more photos of  Franken 'Mud Bath'. This is 3 thin coats, it covered very nicely and applied perfectly. Because it is a matte polish due to the Matte Cobalt and the florescent Yellow Brick Road, this will definitely need at least two coats of Top Coat to get to a high shine. Here I only used one, becuase I needed some cheerful colour after a day of wear..... Those flecky things make me happy, I wish I picked up more of this garish yellow polish - it's good for something = = = Frankens!

Flash, outdoors in the rain

no flash.... still outside

So of course I needed to add something to this. Wearing only 1 shade of polish on my nails is getting pretty rare. If I last more than 8 hours without doing something extra to a plain manicure - it means I was extra busy shopping or doing crafty things, and didn't have time to jazz it up♥

I applied nailene french tip guides up-side down and on the diagonal, then applied two thin coats of China Glaze Shower Together. When it was dry I removed the tip guides and then applied anther coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat. Viola!

Awesome franken! Thanks for telling us the contents and showing the variations with black and white. I picked up 12 mini bottles at the dollar store and can't wait to try out some new frankens of my own. I'm loving yours!
