2 fun green looks

Putting these hexagon glitter on my ring nails did not take as long as I thought it would. For my ring nails I added a coat of clear polish over a dark green polish and used big hexagon glitters that I found at Walmart.  on the rest of my nails I used the hexagon glitters to make a 4 leaf clover shape.  I added a thick coat of TC to my ring nails, and clear to the rest of my nails.

I tried every way imaginable to take a photo of these nails, but the lights kept reflecting of the glitter and I could not take a decent photo.

Whenever I try and do a mixed nail art I never really love it. I like uniformity and I am OK with 1 accent nail. It looks so good on everybody else in all the photos I see = but when I try it I don't think it turns out that great.

For this Mani I used Klean Color military green, a no name gold and then a gold glitter polish from my MOM, along with some nail art pieces and ballz.

 On my ring nail is the green, then I painted a coat of the gold glitter &sprinkled on some medium sized hex glitters for a glitter gradient my ring nail is a full on cavalcade of gold glitter. My thumb and middle nail I used some nail art pieces and some little gold balls and my index nail is a gold/green gradient.

Again when I tried to take photos of this one the camera kept catching the gold hearts and messed up the photos. I have to do a mani like this again but with some girly colours in the future,

 I have had these gold hearts forever and am trying to make good use of them

Cute Klean Kolor mini's

 
Klean Color Techno High mini set has 6 gorgeous metallic polishes that are easy 1 coaters. The yellow polish is the only one that I don't think I could wear....  it's too much on the yellow side......The tiny little brush and bottle cap made application tricky for me. Aren't these just the cutest little bottles?

I found this set for 5 bucks @ Winners ( T.J.Maxx ), I would definitely recommend having the Techno High Metallic set, but I was disappointed with the holo set, all the iridescent polishes are the same, just in slightly different coloured jelly base's. Chunky black is where it's at - that is a beautiful polish! The box set says " Chunky holographic' but there is only 1 truely chunky holo in there...............

I tried to layer one of the Klean Color Chunky Holo's over this lovely metallic teal but it barely showed up.

2 Essence polish's & My Kleancolor Chunky Black holo is actually Red....

It's not true! Nail Polish is for life = not 12 months!

Here are two lovely polish's from Essence Color & Go. Both of these applied perfectly. I love these cute little bottles and how the caps match the polish.


This is 3 coats of Walk on the Wild side and 2 coats of KleanColor Chunky Holo Clover..... I totally expected the KleanColor to dry satin-ey or matte but it dried to a shiny finish.

Essence Chic Reloaded is a very pretty multi chrome.....  I took a gazillion photos and could not capture all the beautiful colours this polish flashes.  This is two easy coats. I love how this polish applied and hope the rest of the shades in this collection have the same formula.

For comparison, below is 2 coats each of  Essence Where's the Part, Chic Reloaded and Wet n Wild Greys Anatomy. Wet n Wild Greys Anatomy is an extremely sheer polish and looks better layered over something.

I picked up this KleanColor holo mini's at Winners ( T.J.Maxx ) around X-mas time. For 4.99, these are a good deal. They are pretty much the same polish save for the Chunky black holo, and the pink shade which has the most notable hot pink jelly base, the rest of the polish's have a similar glitter and are only different in that they have slightly tinted jelly bases.


I planned on layering Chunky Holo Black over Essence Chic Reloaded but it turned the base colour purple.... instead of a darker polish shade like I had hoped.... oh well.

My 'Chunky Holo Black' has a red base...... its not black ~ I'm still happy with it !

This nail art is a little un-eventful -is that a real word? I started with a base of a no-name Bonita nail polish that I fpund at a randon dollar store in Wpg...... then sponged on Wet n Wild Grey's Anatomy and Billie Plutonium Plum I swiped on a coat of Klean Colors Chunky Holoe Glitter. As an afterthought I sponged on  Billie Mauve which dried matte, this was a good contrast to the shiny finish left by the Klean Color glitter.... No Top Coat. I tried to dot on a few planets.... but they barely showed up.

I'm really digging the matte polish that I sponged on, it adds alot of depth to these 'space' nails.

The first coat of this Bonita polish was sheer..... I needed 4 coats for opacity.....

.... and before it dried I totally marred my nails - so i definitly needed some nail art to disguise the damage

Hard Candy Just Nails Mini Polish's

I picked up three of these cute little Hard Candy polish's at Walmart earlier in the week.The green polish above is iridescent glitter pieces and what appears to be blue glitter. I layered 1 coat over 2 coats of Klean Color Army Green. No top coat on these photos.

I chose the green, orange/red and blue mini polish's

below;  Even though this is a nice colour with pretty gold-ish flecks, there was some weird black blobs in the bottle that showed up on my nails..... The cap isn't even black so I cant understand where the black came from = weird! I have read that this is similar to Hard Candy's Lava. This is 2 coats layered over a similar coloured red polish with a coat of top coat.

( my pinky nail is a careful application of LA Colors Stripe polish in Red Glitter - OMG its sooooo pretty! )

the floor is Lava!!!! - Klean Color Bite me and Ardene Crackle

 of course I waited to find black crackle nail polish for as low priced as I could........I'm not paying 9 bucks for half a polish job lol.....

 this is gonna be a quickie post & run =  I started with a base of 2 coats of Klean Color Bite me and added 1 coat of Ardene Crackle in black. It dried matte which looked really cool -  I added 2 coats of TC to this. I found this crackle polish at Ardene Stores ( Canada ) for 3 bucks.

My pinky nails I added a coat of clear and the the crackle immediatly after and I got random shaped crackles while the rest of my nails have long random crackels.

WARNING - holy craaaaaap! I tried to remove this tag on the crackle polish and black polish flicked EVERYWHERE all over my nail polish area and my hands/face!!!!!! be careful removing this ( or it might just be that I am a major clutz! )

2 coats of Klean Color Bite me no TC

This polish stained my nails badly. Both my real nails and the artificial nails in the photo. It dried shiny and quickly for me.
