♥ Nailene French Tip Pen - Black & Beauties Factory Stickers ♥

I'm not sure if I picked the right sticker for this mani I probably should have chosen a strip with a straight edge.....but The Beauties Factory nail strips stickers mostly have curvy shaped edges, and I am trying to use up the stickers that I like the least...first. As long as your nails are free of any oils, moisturizer and are dry, then there should not be any problems applying any type of nail stickers.

For this Mani, I started with a pretty Dusty Rose/Mauve polish, 3 coats, and when it was dry I applied the Beauties Factory nail stickers 1/4 inch-ish away from the tips of my nails, I then filled in that area with my Nailene French Tip Pen in Black. When the black French Tip was dry ( 5 -7 min-ish )  I applied 2 coats of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat.

This is a very easy way to have an Intricate French Tip manicure, I could not get a good photo of the SIDES of my nails, but cutting these stickers just shy of the edge on the side of my nail, has prevented any lifting or tearing of these stickers.....Hopefully I will be able to get a better photo to illustrate this. I made sure to paint over the 'bare' area on the side of my nail with 2 coats of top coat, to really seal these down.

I think I was a little overzealous on my ring & pinky fingers- but basically cutting the sticker just short of the edge of your nail, and making sure that you use top coat liberally in this area, will ensure that the nail sticker does not accidentally peel off. I find that when I did not do this, water & moisturizer would get to this area and my stickers would peel off.  Use Top coat if you want these to last!

I used a polish I found at a thrift store in Grand Forks, North Dakota..... These Color Workshop polish's usually come in holiday manicure / nail care sets and are pretty decent for the price, they are usually not very pigmented though, this was 3 coats and there was still alot of bare spots. I checked out what they are offering for this year and the nail care sets are really nice. The polish bottles are tall and SQUARE this year!

~ Be sure to press stickers down firmly ~
