I have a long way to go before I can pull off the stuff Ainos2 does at at all Glammed up, but I am off to a good start. I thought my first nail stamping would suck waaaaaaay more, but this isn't that bad for my first try. I started with a base of N.Y.C. Water Street Blue, then used Sally Hansen Chrome in Sapphire to do the stamping. I added a coat of Pure Ice Oh Baby and a coat of TC.
Next time I stamp, I will use a non-chrome polish as this dried way to fast for a beginner like me. I did stamp my index nail on upside down lol. Also I switched to using a cut up store card - sorry Fabricland!
Overall I thought this was easy to do and am already planning my next nail art
Also if you don't come back and share new stuff with us, please don't erase your blog - my goodness, there is some amazing nail art on there!
a coat of Pure Ice is hiding some pretty obvious goofs in this mani.....
stuff I used
Below; after stamping...... I had to double stamp horizontally on my middle and ring nail but could'nt match the pattern at all I think that is advanced stamping and out of my skill range for now..... I waited too long between picking up the image on the stamper and stamping my nail.
Index ( far right ) is upside down - whoops, lol
This is an awesome colour with an awesome formula ( Love NYC In a New York Minute polishes )
.... I think it's been a while since I have used Pure Ice Polish's
............................. so proud
Congrats and pretty color combo!
You did an amazing job, girl!! First try at stamping looks really good...better than my first try, lol! I checked out the blogger you referenced...wow! She does do amazing manis! But you do as well, so keep up the good work, chickie!
If you didn't point out the booboo I would have never noticed! I've been wanting to pick these up too, but I'm skeeered!
Great job! My first stamping experience was so bad I couldn't even post about it. Yours is amazing. Keep going, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Yaaay! Great job!
fantastic first time effort!! this is what my best stamping looks like!!!!
Yey, I'm so happy that you will start stamping :) it is really fun. And you should know that the designs from this plate and especially the one that you used are really shallow and every nail polish is drying really fast applied on the design. I think you first try is excellent, I'm looking forward to your next stamping nail art.
Nicely done :)
I would never have guessed this was your first stamping! They came out great and I love the colors you used. I had to giggle cause I also use a fabric store card instead of the metal scraper.
So freaking good for your first time!!! :] These are brill
You can be proud! Good job for your first stamping :-)
Your first stamp? You're kidding, it's amazing! The stamping and the blue polish are awesome!
Have a nice week!

Hey, I like the metal scraper, lol! I always have blurrage with plastic. BTW, More stamping, please?!
Nail stamping get super addictive. I have about 30 plates that I've been collecting since I was 13. Wow, now I put it in in numbers, that's like 10 years! Anyways, great job! I like to use nail stamping and trying to replicate fashion prints from Runway or Gossip Girl (my guilty pleasure).
Anyways, I would love for you and readers to check out my blog
Spectacular combo! You did a GREAT job, first time out or not. I wouldnt have noticed the pinkie being upside down lol. I've been stamping for almost a year now and I still have a tough time matching/continuing a pattern with stamps. Looks great!
where did you get your stamp? I have the double-sided konad, and the other single-sided, but have not been able to find the one in your photo.
