Ahhhh, look at that shimmer. This is 2 coats of L.A. Colors 'Topaz' & 1 coat of Billie 'Top Coat'. On my RING finger I have used a coat of black polish as a base and only 1 coat of L.A. Colors 'Topaz'. I looooove layering, it adds so much beauty to a polish finish!!!!! I purchased this L.A. Colors polish at Family Dollar in Grand Forks, N.D. for $1 USD. I was very happy that it turned out to be a good & inexpensive polish, it applies well & dries pretty fast. The one negative aspect is that the black handle comes off, which can actually be a good thing, just not when I am shaking it around on my patio and the bottle fly's out of my hand. Thank goodness it didn't break. Actually it's a miracle it didn't break cause I was flinging it around pretty viciously.
I am not a fan of thick, large polish handles, so this turned out to be a good thing. I am not sure if that is deliberate, or it just was not glued on properly. Oh well! I am happy that this color turned out to actually be more of a genuine topaz color than a sheer gold. I think that the next time I wear this I will suck it up and apply 3 to 4 coats, for maximum opacity♥.
That is a nice color!
Another pretty shade. I never think of layering like that. I just layered Fairy Dust over one finger on each hand.
this is a GORGEOUS shade! why do you leave one finger a different colour?
♥ Gilded Angel - Thanks! These are cheap, too
♥ Lucy - Thanks! I love layering, it creates a completely different look sometimes. This was un-expected.
♥ Angie - Thanks! I have layered this L.A. Colors polish over a coat of black polish. I love the look of sheer and shimmery polish's layered over darker colors.
