Nina Emerald City & 2 other manis's.....

ARE THE NEW WET N WILD POLISH'S COMING TO CANADA ----- I WROTE THE COMPANY  A DAY OR SO AGO BUT NO REPLY YET.... DOES ANYONE KNOW? I LOVE WET N WILD PRODUCTS AND HOPE THEY SHOW UP HERE, because, dang, those are some pretty polish's!!!

ALSO if 5 different companies can make the same polish (   read about here in Nailed   ) then I am certain that these same companies can whip up some easily accessible flakies and extreme holographic's and  prismatic's, Duo-Chromes too!!

-I'm talking to you Sally Hansen -
your sitting on a pile of money!!!!!

Moving along, Nina Ultra Pro Emerald City; 3 thin coats followed by some franken glitter, applied at the base of my nail and fading towards the tips. I added a coat of clear polish, then a thick coat of Nailene Acrylic Strong Top Coat.

I WISH I could get more photos of this Nina polish in the sunshine - because dang; it's pretty!  There is a lot of photos of Nina Ultra Pro Emerald City floating around on the interwebs, it is a gorgeous shimmery emerald green.

This is an easy look to achieve. I applied a small blob of the glitter polish and dragged it across my nail, from the base to the tips of my nail.... approximately 3 times, filling in any sparse areas and tying to keep the bulk of the glitter at the base of my nail. I love this look and like that there is still a substantial amount of my shimmery base polish showing, and enough glitter to keep me happy. The best of both worlds ♥

Franken I made with Wet n Wild Bijou Blue and a Claire's multi-sized glitter

my only sunshine pic= with bonus fluff!

Above; 3 coats of Wet n' Wild Casting Call, When I first applied this I thought it was such a weird colour..... I am still not really sure how to describe this. I do like it and wore it for an extra day, adding a sparkly older Sally Hansen polish over it.

This is 2 coats of Sally Hansen Pina Colada Pop layered over Wet n' Wild Casting call, and a coat of Nailene TC. This polish is similar to another older sparkly polish I have Wet n Wild Rock Solid in Sparkling Diamonds. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength also makes a polish somewhat similar to this and  is currently available called 'A Girl's Best Friend', but that is a little more on the gold/bronze side, while this much more sparser in shimmer. I think a polish similar to this finish is handy to have around. It is super sparkly and hides flaws very well.

under cloudy gloomy skies

.... and finally, here is a lovely icy lite blue shimmer form Icing. This is 3 coats, from an LE set I picked up a month ago. Like all icing sets there is no name on this one. It is a sheer shimmery lite blue with a touch of copper flash. I initially layered this over a similar coloured opaque blue, but it was too streaky so I removed that and started over.  I think at 4 coats I would be satisfied with this polish, but for this mani I only used 3 coats.
