I hope I did a good job of explaining things.

♥ Smita - Yes I do paint over the false nails with designs on them sometimes.... alot of times though my nail polish with mar the surface of the false nail, causing wrinkles which I imagine means that my polish is eating through the surface of the decorated artificial nail. The Nailene 3X that I use ( the french manicure ones ) have not had this problem so far.

I like using plain fake nails and can often get 5 or more paint jobs from them before the nail polish remove and acetone eats through the artificial nail.Deez Nailz - Canadas most fabulous hand modelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10344896260569017525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6269810734955274850.post-83592498313408539102010-07-17T22:11:09.179-05:002010-07-17T22:11:09.179-05:00okay i love your tutorial and i am interested in t...okay i love your tutorial and i am interested in trying fake nails!
however, i don't know if this a dumb question or not - but for example the nails you used with the print on the tips, would you put your polish on top of this to create a manicure like your teal one with the dots? or do you use a plain fake nail? thanks for your help!

new blogger!
mynailzz.blogspot.commynailzzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11470515647544225027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6269810734955274850.post-43144462443306519862010-07-17T16:00:17.452-05:002010-07-17T16:00:17.452-05:00Thank you for this informative step-by-step guide....Thank you for this informative step-by-step guide. I love fake nails for really heavy duty glitters or even a glitter sprinkle mani!

♥ raeissuchadoll - I hope that I help people with some of my information and experience. I love artificial nails!

♥ Angie - Thanks, that dotting tool was surprisingly easy to wrk with... I though it would be really hard.

♥ Rasilla!!!! I know I though that was a really , really long time. My friend has wide nails too, and so I give her all my larger sizes from the boxes of un painted un decorated nails I buy.

♥ ABOP - I received some letters about people finding that the nails do not fit their nail bed and cuticle area properly, and so they did not realize they could shape them♥♥♥ I dint know either, the first time I purchased false nails.

That dotting tool is pretty neat, I think I picked the wrong colour for this mani though.

♥ Veronica - Hmmmm.... bumpy..... I find that not letting the brush make contact with my nail and using just the right amount of top coat ( any top coat )gets a nice shiny surface... I don't always achieve this, though, and I get weird brush marks sometimes too♥

♥ LacquerObsession - Thanks I am working on a list of tips/tricks/ and links to awesome posts that other bloggers have posted as well.

♥ Shiny - I am practicing on my non- dominate hand as well, and it did not look this good...I think I will need alot of practice to get both of my hands to look goodDeez Nailz - Canadas most fabulous hand modelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10344896260569017525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6269810734955274850.post-43591423834692405662010-07-17T02:03:40.135-05:002010-07-17T02:03:40.135-05:00You did great on the dots!
